Alright it's that time of year again, Scallop season 2010. Come to the Homosassa and Crystal River area from July 1st thru Sept.10th and join in on the fun. The scalloping beds are normally between 4 and 6 feet deep, which makes it fun for everyone. We supply you your masks, fins, snorkel, catch bag, and fishing license's. We are conveniently located approximate. 1.5 hours from Tampa & Orlando, and 1 hour from Ocala. Trips are $75.00 per person, and are able to book up to 12 persons we do ask for a minimum of 3 persons or pay for 3 people. Tours are 6-7 hrs in duration. We leave Magic Manatee Marina at 8am and return at 2pm. It's a 30.min cruise out the beautiful Homosassa River to the Gulf of Mexico and the Scallop Beds. Scallop limits are 2 gallons whole per person and 10 gallons whole per boat. If you clean the scallops before returning to the dock, the limit is 1 pint of scallop meat per person, with a maximum of 1/2 gallon per boat.
